Xue Li, also known as Snow Li, serves as a Lecturer in the School of Nursing within the College of Health and Education at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. She holds a Master of Education (MEd) and is a Registered Nurse (RN). Her professional contributions are centered in nursing education, where she engages in research exploring innovative technologies to improve clinical training.
In 2025, Xue Li led a scoping review titled 'Extended reality for enhancing communication skills in nursing education,' published in Teaching and Learning in Nursing (volume 20, issue 2, pages e587-e595). Co-authored with Ruth Wei, Susan Slatyer, and Natasha Anne Rappa, the study reviews the application of extended reality (XR) technologies—such as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality—in teaching communication skills to nursing students. The review identifies current uses, effectiveness, and gaps in the literature, contributing to the advancement of simulation-based learning in nursing curricula. Xue Li is listed on the School of Nursing's official staff page and participates in academic activities, including unit coordination.
