Rate My Professor Xue Li

In 2025, Xue Li led a scoping review titled 'Extended reality for enhancing communication skills in nursing education,' published in Teaching and Learning in Nursing (volume 20, issue 2, pages e587-e595). Co-authored with Ruth Wei, Susan Slatyer, and Natasha Anne Rappa, the study reviews the application of extended reality (XR) technologies—such as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality—in teaching communication skills to nursing students. The review identifies current uses, effectiveness, and gaps in the literature, contributing to the advancement of simulation-based learning in nursing curricula. Xue Li is listed on the School of Nursing's official staff page and participates in academic activities, including unit coordination.
