Professor Yuri Sokolov is the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU), the premier medical higher education institution in Belarus. As an Associate Professor and Candidate of Medical Sciences, he holds a central position in managing the university's educational activities, including curriculum development, quality monitoring, and student assessment. Sokolov frequently represents BSMU at international forums and delegations, fostering collaborations with medical institutions worldwide. For instance, he received the Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Iran, the Ambassador of India, and delegations from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Guangdong Medical Union, Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Kazakhstan's First Deputy Minister of Health.
