T. Zachary Frazier is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Information, Library, and Research Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He earned a Ph.D. and M.L.I.S. from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. from Western Washington University. His research specializations include agnotology, digital creativity, information science, and knowledge practice, with a focus on information behaviors in web design and digital innovation.
Frazier has published in the Proceedings of the Association for Information Science and Technology, including "Agnotology and Information" (2015), "DisasterBox: Designing Social Media for Disaster Relief" (2015), "A Pilot Study of the Information Behaviors of Web Designers" (2017), "Using Podcasts as Texts in the Study of Human Information Behavior" (2017), and "Knowledge Practices in Professional Web Design" (2018). He coordinates the B.S. in Information Science program, serves as the contact for Honors in Information Science, mentors undergraduate researchers through programs like the Thomas Undergraduate Research and Creativity Awards, and acts as Faculty in Residence for Haywood, Highland, Lofts on Lee, Lee, and Union residence halls.
