Brendon Knott

Prof. Brendon Knott, PhD., is Associate Professor and Director of the Centre for Sport Business and Technology Research in the Sport Management Department at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa. His research focus and industry experience is in sport and event marketing, sport tourism and nation branding. Prof Knott has an extensive research portfolio, and an international standing in his field, seen in his diverse pull of international collaborators. He is an NRF Rated Researcher (C2), with a strong record of academic leadership, curriculum development, postgraduate supervision, industry engagement and revenue generation.
