1-year-term position Instructor at the rank of Instructor III
We invite applications for a 1-year-term position Instructor at the rank of Instructor III, beginning July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field of study with demonstrated teaching and community experience. Placement on the salary scale will be determined by qualifications.
We welcome applications from individuals who will strengthen our program’s commitments and approach, and who have experience teaching students who face multiple barriers.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses that include Community Development, Introduction to Community Advocacy, Community Organizing for Social Justice, Confronting Racism and Oppression, and Introduction to Urban and Inner-City Studies.
While the position has a start date of July 1, teaching will begin in the Fall term (September 2026).
