Primary Purpose of the Position: Teach and facilitate face-to-face clinical instruction related to the application of nursing theories, principles, and skill competencies. Coach and mentor students during their clinical experiences and beyond.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:
- Minimum of 2 years
- Preparation in teaching and learning principles pedagogy as defined by the Board of Nursing
- Exhibit the ability to engage in interdisciplinary teaching, learning, and scholarly collaboration with the broader constituencies
- Show commitment to liberal education, diversity, equity, social justice, and social determinants of health in inclusive environments
- Exemplify commitment to professional growth and development through engagement in professional organizations, conferences, workshops, and other professional growth activities
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Canvas platforms
