SUMMARY

The Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC), part of SUNY Brockport, State University of New York, and located in downtown Rochester, is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time, temporary teaching positions as needed.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Teach REOC High School Equivalency Reading, Math, Social, and/or Science; or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or an appropriate level of experience commensurate with the adjunct lecturer responsibilities
• Training and/or teaching experience for adults from culturally diverse populations
• Ability to teach on site as well as remotely

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in the field or closed related field
• Significant teaching experience
