SUMMARY

The Department of Art & Design at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications to fulfill immediate and potential upcoming adjunct faculty openings.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:

Teaching (100%)

• Teaches assigned courses in the Department of Art & Design. Areas of immediate need including Drawing, 2D Design, and Adobe Creative Suite applications, with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Additional openings may become available in Art History, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture
• Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
• Produces effective course materials
• Achieves student learning outcomes

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in relevant subject area from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work experience in the relevant subject area; past teaching experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work Schedule: Variable

Salary and Benefits: $5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible.
