One of the greatest strengths of our Community Enrichment program is its flexibility. Courses are highly customizable to meet both the needs of our community and the instructors expertise and availability. We encourage instructors to share their passion by developing classes that inspire, educate, and connect with members of our community.

Specific Position Duties
- Developing course content with Community Enrichment Coordinator within their area of expertise
- Teaching engaging, organized, and informative classes
- Creating a positive and welcoming learning environment
- Working with Continuing Education staff to coordinate scheduling, registration, classroom logistics, and marketing
- Communicating professionally with students and staff
- Providing an exceptional learning experience for community participants
Minimum Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess demonstrated knowledge, professional experience, certification, or advanced skill in the subject they wish to teach
- Be able to effectively demonstrate and communicate their knowledge to a variety of lifelong learners
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be dependable, organized, and professional
- All prospective instructors participate in a subject matter review with Continuing Education staff prior to onboarding to ensure they possess the knowledge and experience necessary to teach their proposed course(s).
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Work Hours
This is a flexible, part-time instructional position. • Flexible scheduling based on instructor availability and community demand • Class days, times, course length, and frequency are determined collaboratively.
