SUMMARY

The Department of Earth Sciences at SUNY Brockport is seeking applicants for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Teaching (100%)

• Teaches assigned geology courses in the Department of Earth Sciences
• Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
• Produces effective course materials
• Achieves student learning outcomes
• Holds open office hours for students

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in earth sciences or closely related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate in earth sciences
• Significant teaching experience

Work Schedule: Variable
