This position engages with students to advise them on academic requirements for degree progress, course selection, policies, procedures, and resources based on an assessment of individual student needs. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, work well under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while remaining flexible and positive. This will require exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The selected candidate will be required to (including but not limited to): • Manage a high work volume with attention to detail and accuracy. • Advise students for an undergraduate program. • Processes academic forms and letters for an undergraduate program. • Process graduation applications for an undergraduate program. • Plan and execute events for undergraduate students. • Responsible for promoting Bauer majors and minors to Bauer undergraduate students; may include (but is not limited to): o Advising Bauer students considering declaring a program as their major or minor o Managing promotion and administrative processes related to specialty programs and/or certificates o Participating in presentations to classes o Conducting presentations to student organizations o Be adaptable to change, as constant improvements are being made in advising.
