1. Description (Scope, Expectations, Remarks)
Candidates applying for the position should hold a Master’s degree in the discipline of Management and Quality Sciences, have professional experience related to the aforementioned discipline, experience in teaching, and a professional record related to the above-mentioned field. Candidates should demonstrate aptitude for teaching and research.
The competition is open to candidates who meet the requirements specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science and the Statute of the Prof. Edward F. Szczepanik State Vocational University in Suwałki.
2. 1. Requirements
- Holding a Master’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, in the discipline of Management and Quality Sciences.
- Teaching achievements in the discipline of Management and Quality Sciences
- Experience in academic teaching.
- Professional experience related to the above-mentioned discipline.
2. Required Documents
- An application for employment addressed to the Rector of the Prof. Edward F. Szczepanik State Vocational University in Suwałki.
- A curriculum vitae (CV) including detailed information on previous employment, together with the following consent to the processing of personal data:
“I consent to the processing of my personal data for the purposes necessary to carry out the recruitment process in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC.”
- A personal questionnaire for a job applicant (form attached).
- Copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications.
If the professional title, academic degree, or academic title was obtained abroad, copies of the relevant documents together with a certified Polish translation prepared by a sworn translator must be submitted.
- A list of publications (optional),
- Documents confirming professional experience gained outside higher education institution in the fields and disciplines specified in Section 1.
- A declaration confirming compliance with the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (form attached).
- A declaration stating that the Prof. Edward F. Szczepanik State Vocational University in Suwałki will constitute the applicant's primary place of employment within the meaning of Article 120 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (form attached).

The successful candidate will be employed as an Academic Assistant on a fixed-term contract, on a full-time basis

6. Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to conduct the recruitment process at the Prof. Edward F. Szczepanik State Vocational University in Suwałki and, following its completion, for 14 days from the date on which the recruitment procedure is officially concluded (i.e., the date on which the competition results are published on the University's website).
