Job Description
The Department of Internal Medicine/Section of Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale University is seeking qualified candidates to join our faculty. Responsibilities will include an ambulatory clinic, inpatient attending at Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS)Hospitals. In addition to providing patient care, faculty members may have the opportunity to participate in the Section’s teaching and research missions.
Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) is Connecticut’s leading healthcare system, which includes 5 hospitals with nearly 2700 beds. Yale University’s Cardiovascular Medicine Section has more than 170 full-time faculty, providing a full-spectrum of clinical care, teaching for 50 fellows in 8 different subspecialty programs, and ground-breaking research, including basic/discovery, translational research, outcomes and policy and a robust clinical trials program.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must be fellowship trained in cardiovascular medicine with additional advanced training in echocardiography. Candidates must be either Board Certified or Board Eligible. Candidates must meet criteria for appointment as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Academic Clinician (AC) or Clinician Educator Scholar (CES) Track. Candidates with additional training, experience and interest in cardiovascular imaging and critical care medicine are strongly encouraged to apply.
