The Department of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University invite applications for Academic Emergency Medicine Physicians beginning July 1, 2026, or sooner. We are currently seeking three qualified Academic Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our division. These are full-time faculty positions for a period of three years (renewable). Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate(s) will be full-time members of the Division of Emergency Medicine and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division. The successful candidate(s) should have a proven track record in undergraduate and/or postgraduate education and will be expected to fully participate in all appropriate departmental and divisional educational activities.
Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC or equivalent) in Emergency Medicine and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario. Additionally, applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience as of July 1, 2026, as an Academic Emergency Physician.
