Serving Columbia's urban metro area and over 20 surrounding rural counties, our team provides comprehensive care to a wide-ranging patient demographic. We offer robust training programs for residents from emergency medicine, pediatrics, combined internal medicine-pediatrics, and family medicine. Our faculty actively engage in mentoring medical students through clerkships and elective rotations, emphasizing bedside clinical teaching and formal lectures. The Department of Emergency Medicine provides substantial support for research initiatives, assisting with study design, grant applications, IRB approval, data management, and manuscript preparation. Faculty and students collaborate on projects that advance the field of pediatric emergency medicine. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • Valid license to practice medicine in the State of Missouri • Credentialed by the University of Missouri • Board Certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and/or Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship certification preferred • MD or DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine or Pediatrics with Pediatric Emergency Medicine training or experience Application Materials Be prepared to upload a CV.
