Chest Wall Malformation program including Pediatric Pulmonary
and Physical therapists with black bone imaging capabilities, use
of cryoablation and the new pectus Blu system.
Multi-disciplinary Vascular Anomalies program with Pediatric
and Adult IR support.
Dedicated feeding access program and clinics managed by our
Surgical Nurse Practitioners.
Fetal Program with full diagnostic and interventional
capabilities in a dedicated integrated i-suite Fetal OR.
A dedicated outpatient facility for all pediatric services is
connected directly to the Children’s Hospital via a sky-bridge.
Pediatric volumes included 37,000 outpatient visits and 4,700
pediatric operative cases last year. Our outstanding surgical team
utilizes advanced technology available at MU Healthcare.
To further strengthen our research mission, we have a dedicated
research team within the Department of Surgery with an established
clinical trials and outcomes platform and multiple basic science
labs through the NextGen Precision Health.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have completed an
accredited General Surgery residency and Pediatric Surgery
fellowship, hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, be eligible for a Missouri
medical license and board certified/eligible in Pediatric
Surgery.
Candidates will be evaluated on: Additional subspecialty training
in pediatric surgery.
