SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking BC/BE Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine physicians to join our thriving academic Division of Neonatology at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. We are expanding our team and welcome candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level who are passionate about advancing neonatal care, teaching the next generation of physicians, and pursuing scholarly interests.
We are particularly interested in physicians with expertise or special interest in:
- Neonatal Neurology
- Simulation Education
- Quality Improvement
- Clinical or Translational Research
- Medical Education and Fellowship Training

Exceptional Clinical Opportunities
- Practice in a 65-bed Level IV NICU, one of the largest and most advanced neonatal intensive care units in the region.
- Care for the most complex neonatal patients alongside nationally recognized pediatric subspecialists.
- Partner with maternal-fetal medicine specialists through our multidisciplinary Fetal Care Institute.
- Participate in a robust high-risk developmental follow-up program that supports patients beyond discharge.
Academic Excellence:
- Faculty appointment with Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

- Join an established Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program that trains two fellows annually.

Diverse Practice Environment:
In addition to our Level IV NICU at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, faculty provide care across a regional network that includes:
- A 42-bed Level III NICU at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – St. Louis
- Four affiliated Level II NICUs throughout the community
- Antenatal consultation services
- Neonatal resuscitation and delivery attendance
- Fetal care consultations and developmental follow-up clinics

- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
