Academic Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician
The Division of Respiratory, Critical Care and Occupational Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Utah is seeking applicants for faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor levels to participate in its clinical, educational, and clinical research programs. Primary duties will include clinical care at the University of Utah Hospital and Healthcare Centers, educational activities with fellows, residents, and medical students, and work on translational research projects.
Opportunities are available for programmatic development in a number of clinical arenas. Potential areas of special expertise can include (but are not limited to) general pulmonary consultation, sleep medicine, asthma, critical care, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, and the genetics of lung diseases. For one of these positions, preference will be given to a candidate interested in developing a robust pulmonary and sleep practice.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and must be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Utah. Successful candidates will be appointed at a faculty rank and salary based on qualifications.
