Position Summary
The
Department
of Surgery within the Jacobs School of Medicine and
Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB),
is seeking a highly qualified
Colorectal Surgeon.
This position will be based at our major affiliated teaching
hospitals, with an appointment at the Clinical Assistant Professor
level.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing
colorectal surgery services and will demonstrate a commitment to
excellence in patient-centered care.
Overall duties include:
- Serving as attending physician for inpatient colorectal surgery
care services
- Providing consultation, treatment, and follow-up for colorectal
surgery patients
Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical
students
Engaging in clinical and basic science research, as well as
participating in clinical trials that promote advancements in
colorectal surgery

Minimum Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery
- Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery
