The dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, Brno University of Technology is opening a position of
Academic/Research assistant – DOCENT / PROFESSOR,
in the field of Environmental chemistry and engineering, Chemical engineering, Chemistry and technology of environmental protection, Organic technology, Technology of waste management, or related branches,
part time job (20 hrs. /week), with a primary focus on teaching activities, affiliated at the Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Environmentalprotection.
Job description:
- Primarily pedagogical activities, complemented by scientific and popularization activities, in the field of Environmental chemistry and engineering, Chemical engineering, Chemistry and technology of environmental protection, Organic technology, Technology of waste management, or related branches,
- Participating in the institute's basic and applied research activities to a limited extent
- Training and supervision of students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programs, including supervision of theses
- Occasional participation in obtaining grant funds for the research activities of the institute and faculty
- Operational and managerial activities at the institute corresponding to the position of a docent/professor
Requirements:
- Docent or Professor in the field of Environmental chemistry and engineering, Chemical engineering, Chemistry and technology of environmental protection, Organic technology, Technology of waste management, or related branches, in accordance with Czech legislation, or its recognition based on bilateral agreements
- Ability to contribute to the research activities of the workplace, to an extent corresponding to the focus of the position
- Ability to work independently at scientific work, active publication activity
- Fluent in Czech with excellent communication and written skills in English
- Criminal and moral integrity
