Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
As an Accessibility Advisor, you will provide liaison, advice, advocacy and tailored support to disabled students—both before they begin and throughout their studies. You’ll work closely with faculties and support services to remove barriers, promote inclusive practices, and enable students to thrive.
Based in Tauranga two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays), this role also involves regular engagement with our Hamilton campus, offering variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships across the University, you will make a difference by
- Empowering students to succeed through tailored, practical support
- Partnering with staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Developing personalised Study Support Plans and coordinate support services
- Building strong relationships across the University and wider community
Salary will be in the range of $72,235 to $87,024 prorated, per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a part-time role (15 hours a week), based on our Tauranga Campus.
