As an Accounting and Finance postgraduate research student at Abertay University, you will carry out an original, independent research and/or practice-based project, whilst being guided and supported by a team of expert academic supervisors.

- financial/nonfinancial measurements
- financial analysis relating to conventional energy, nonconventional energy, transitioning to clean energy, carbon emission and pursuit of global environmental sustainability objectives
- corporate disclosures on environmental issues
- abandonment problems associated with oil and gas companies operating in the North Sea and Nigeria and the implications for UK governmental policy
- gas flaring and oil spillage
- the impact of corruption on economic development
- gender inequality and corruption
- models of misgovernance

General requirements
- The minimum entry requirement for all our research degrees is an Upper Second Class Honours degree (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in an appropriate discipline and/or a Master's degree.
- In some cases, appropriate professional or experiential learning may be considered in combination with a lower classification of Honours degree.
