"Accounting Assistant III - 527614"

The Accounting Assistant III maintains accurate financial records. Provides accounting and bookkeeping support. Assists University staff in understanding industry standards, current laws, and university policy as it relates to the financial affairs of the University. Provides guidance, trains, and/or may supervise entry-level Accounting Assistants.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; OR bachelor's degree.

Skills and Knowledge: General knowledge of accounting principles. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and make decisions independently. Knowledge of Word, Excel, UA systems and processes including eTime, Everest, Banner/ePrint, PageUp, Touchnet, Concur, purchasing card policies and procedures, and onboarding for new employees.
