Job Summary:
Assists with routine clerical work and bookkeeping, such as
documenting transactions, processing payments, and preparing
invoices to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of
financial transactions.
Job Description:
- Performs routine accounting activities such as receiving,
processing, and updating of financial transactions for an
organization or team.
Processes travel reimbursements, accounts receivable, payroll,
and other similar financial transactions.
Processes orders, prepares invoices, and coordinates
mailings.
Calculates, posts, reconciles, and verifies duties to obtain
primary financial data.
Performs professional and complex clerical accounting tasks in
maintaining financial records and processing related data including
examining checks, vouchers, and other documents for accuracy.
Serves as departmental liaison with personnel to obtain
information to verify or support financial records and to answer
inquiries concerning accounting procedures.
Types and composes correspondence.
Assists with manual distribution of fees.
Reconciles university accounts.
Responsible for receiving and depositing scholarship
checks.
Responsible for creating and sending invoices to donors.
Performs related or similar duties as required or
assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
