The ISU Foundation serves as the fundraising and advancement partner of Idaho State University, securing and stewarding private support that strengthens the University's mission and impact. The Idaho State University Foundation is seeking a positive, energetic, and experienced Accounting Manager to join its team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Accounting Manager plays a critical role in managing daily finance and accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial information.
This position is responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, including general ledger management, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, audit and tax preparation, compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and have the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
