Description: Reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives, the Accreditation Manager is responsible for supporting the medical school’s ongoing compliance with Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) standards. This role serves as a central partner in advancing accreditation readiness, coordinating critical processes, and ensuring alignment between institutional practices, strategic goals, and regulatory expectations. This position requires availability for occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend hours in support of strategic priorities and academic activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinates all aspects of LCME accreditation activities, including the development and monitoring of project timelines, preparation of reports and documentation, scheduling and facilitating meetings, organizing survey visit details, managing official LCME correspondence, and maintaining accurate accreditation-related content on school websites. Contributes to continuous quality improvement (CQI) teams by identifying potential risks, analyzing processes, and helping to track activity and design strategies that sustain compliance and support the school’s mission and priorities. Tracks and interprets updates to accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. Recommends and implements internal adjustments as needed. Prepares briefing materials and delivers training sessions to ensure stakeholders are informed of relevant changes. Supports governance document reviews to ensure handbooks, catalogs, bylaws, and policies remain accurate and accessible. Provides regular updates and formal reports to senior leadership regarding accreditation status and CQI activities. Participates in the Accreditation Preparation & Quality Improvement (APQI) community of practice and other relevant professional groups and development opportunities to share best practices and remain current in accreditation trends. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned to support accreditation and quality initiatives. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, healthcare administration, public health, organizational management, or related field required. At least three years of experience in accreditation, compliance, academic program administration, or related project coordination in higher education or healthcare. Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Attention to detail and ability to interpret and apply policies, standards, and regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem solving. High level of professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management tools, Qualtrics, graphic design software (Canva, Venngage, Adobe) and Zoom preferred. Must be mission-driven, intellectually curious, and committed to continuous learning and institutional improvement.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in higher education administration, public health, organizational management, or a related field preferred. Direct experience with LCME accreditation or other specialized accreditation processes. Experience in CQI initiatives or compliance monitoring in an academic or healthcare setting. Prior involvement in drafting policies, handbooks, or governance documents. Ability to facilitate educational sessions and present complex information clearly. Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
