ADA Compliance Officer and 504 Coordinator
Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: ADA Compliance Officer and 504 Coordinator in Title IX and Protected Rights.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field; minimum two (2) years’ experience in ADA /504 compliance work in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in related field; three (3) years’ of progressively responsible experience related to ADA /504 compliance; including two (2) years’ of supervisory experience (direct or indirect).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Direct, monitor, and coordinate University compliance with federal, state, and local laws, resolution agreements, and regulatory guidance related to ADA /Section 504 and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to persons with disabilities; conducts investigations in the absence of case investigator or as deemed necessary.
- Evaluate public, faculty, staff, and student access to CCU’s facilities and programs, to include conducting review of facilities, digital content, programs, and communications to identify and address accessibility compliance.
- Collaborate with University leadership to integrate accessibility compliance into campus operations, fostering a supportive environment for the public, faculty, staff, and students pursuant to the law and University policy.
- In conjunction with campus partners, provide education, consultation, and tools to faculty, staff, and administrators on accessibility responsibilities and compliance with the law and University policy.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for the rights of disabled individuals in the physical, virtual, academic and employment spaces.
Full-time time-limited position with benefits. Salary range: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
