Position Summary: The Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction of adult college students and/or high school students for EMR and/or EMT (EMS121, 128, 131, 133 and 140) initial courses of instruction.
Required Qualifications: 2-years of full-time EMS transporting experience (or equivalent experience); Kansas EMT certification; Associates Degree (Candidate must attach PDF of unofficial transcripts when applying for consideration).
Preferred Qualifications: 5 Years full-time EMS transporting experience (or equivalent experience); Kansas AEMT, Paramedic, or RN licensure (Candidate must attach PDF of current license when applying for consideration); Bachelor's Degree or higher (**Required for all section 133 and higher**) (Candidate must attach PDF of unofficial transcripts when applying for consideration); Kansas EMS I/C certification; BCLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PHTLS Instructor (Attach PDF of any current instructor cards); Experience in EMS initial education; Knowledge of instructional methods & teaching experience to deliver content, skills instruction & remediation.
