The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a unique department at NTU Singapore, advancing cutting-edge education and research in diverse areas of chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, biotechnology, and other relevant multidisciplinary fields.
CCEB invites applications for positions at the rank of Adjunct Associate Professor in Food Science and Technology.
We are looking for candidates holding a Ph.D degree/equivalent in Science/Engineering or relevant disciplines. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience, relevant industrial background, teaching ability and strong communication skills. Knowledge of the food industry and related experience will be preferred.
The Adjunct Associate Professor responsibilities may include the following:
- Contribute to the undergraduate teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in the food science and technology programme.
- Develop an engaging and positive learning environment for the undergraduate students.
- Participate in events, activities and initiatives organized by the office.
- Assist in evaluating grant applications and research proposals within their area of expertise.
- Conduct public lectures and organize industry seminars for potential research collaboration among companies, students and faculty.
