The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is accepting applications for Vocational Education Instructor, Tutor Training Non-Credit positions at our colleges for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.

The LACCD is seeking dynamic, motivated, and diverse candidates for part-time faculty positions to engage and educate our students in tutor training methodologies aligned with College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or higher in any field AND Two (2) years of full-time related professional experience OR
Associate degree in any field AND Six (6) years of full-time related professional experience.

Desirable Qualifications

Ability To teach a full range of community college Noncredit Vocational Education course offerings focused on Tutor training

COMPENSATION

The salary schedule for adjunct noncredit instructors begins at $89.72 per standard hour.

REMOTE LEARNING

Faculty may be required to conduct classes in a virtual learning environment using Canvas, hybrid, or hyflex modalities to support remote learning.
