Two years’ work experience in the field of design and/or
engineering, directly involved with the application of CAD tools to
create products, structures, machines, or tooling.
Ability to integrate computer applications into teaching,
ability to communicate with students remotely and effectively
achieve learning outcomes through remote or in-person
instruction.
Capability to present information in an instructional setting
and respond to questions from groups.
Positive teaching style and understanding the needs of
students.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in design, or a related field.
- Professional experience with software packages including
AutoCad, Inventor, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or other platforms
utilized in technical design.
- Certifications in CAD software packages. Teaching experience
(including on job training of co-workers). Familiarity with ISO and
ANSI orthographic projections.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerances.
- Additive Engineering Experience.

Instruct courses in Computer Aided Design using AutoCad, Inventor,
SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or other platforms utilized in technical
industries.

- Develop course syllabi that share with students the
expectations, standards, policies, and learning objectives of the
course.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of assessments of
course and program learning outcomes.
- Recognize and respond to different student learning styles and

- Develop and use supplementary learning materials, resources,
and technology.
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required
records.
