Job Description
The instructional faculty member shall have the primary responsibilities of teaching Criminal Justice / Criminology courses at the Harrogate, Tennessee campus or online
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Criminal Justice / Criminology; teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal Degree in Criminal Justice / Criminology. Evidence of effective teaching and the ability to teach statistics for criminology/criminal justice

Job Duties
- Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large:
- promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students
- comply with the university Faculty/Staff Policy Manual;
- submit textbook requests;
- comply with announced requirements;
- appropriately align course syllabi goals and objectives to academic major program goals and student outcomes for each course taught;
- develop a current syllabus for each assigned class and distribute a course syllabus to each student;
- submit a current copy of each syllabus to the department chair by a predetermined deadline;
- evaluate enrolled students and submit grades to the Registrar by a predetermined deadline;
- assure completion of the student course evaluation instrument for the semester as requested;
- participate in the faculty evaluation process and use the results to improve teaching and strengthen the major;
- perform other duties as assigned within the scope of current position.
