Adjunct Faculty - Artificial Intelligence for Petroleum Engineering

The Department of Petroleum Engineering in the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston is a dynamic, growing organization that offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses.
The Department of Petroleum Engineering anticipates an opening for a temporary, part-time Adjunct Faculty position for the upcoming Fall semester in the area of Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will co-teach (50% effort) a graduate-level course in Artificial Intelligence for Petroleum Engineering, in collaboration with another Adjunct Faculty member in the department.
A Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related field is preferred. Industry experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly in the application of AI to engineering problems, is highly desirable.
Adjunct faculty appointments are offered on a semester-by-semester basis and may be renewed contingent upon institutional needs and demonstrated satisfactory performance.
