The Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance at The Bill Munday School of Business, St. Edward's University, invites applications for a part-time adjunct position beginning summer 2024. St. Edward's is a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) committed to the Holy Cross educational mission, educating a diverse student body dedicated to social justice.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance on a part-time basis as needed. Appointments are made semester by semester, with positions renewable based on performance and departmental needs.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the field of teaching.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must complete an employment and/or criminal background check.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare and teach undergraduate courses in fields such as accounting, economics, or finance, primarily in person with some flexible options.
• Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback.
• Provide culturally responsive teaching and mentoring to a diverse student body.
• Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas).
• Maintain professional standards and comply with all policies.
• Be available on campus for one office hour per week per course taught.
