JOB SUMMARY

The Biology Department invites applications for adjunct faculty positions for the 2024-2025 academic year. These part-time positions become available in Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 for a variety of non-major Biology courses, including in general biology, genetics, environmental dynamics, and anatomy & physiology.

The ability to teach in-person on-campus is expected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• MA or MS degree or higher in the biological sciences required.
• Experience and ability to positively interact with diverse student populations and groups.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• College-level teaching experience is preferred.

Scheduled weekly hours vary depending on class contract load. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.
