The Nursing Department at Finger Lakes Community College is seeking
Clinical Adjunct Faculty who are innovative and adaptable educators
committed to student engagement, excellence in teaching, and
interdisciplinary collaboration. We are looking for individuals to
teach clinical within our fundamentals, medical-surgical and mental
health courses.

Qualified candidates will be contacted by the hiring manager as

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of the current subject area and clinical
expertise in the assigned area.
Implements course outcomes based on the master syllabus.
Prepares and creates pre/post conference plans, instructional
materials, and activities for students during the clinical
day.
Ensures safe clinical practice throughout each clinical day and
evaluates student performance at mid and final semester.
Maintains accurate student records.
Submits pertinent data to the department and/or the
College.
Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal
skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum BSN.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent acute care experience required. Teaching experience
preferred
Additional Information:
- Adjunct rate of pay for the 2026-2027 Academic Year is $1,087
per contact hour
