Adjunct Faculty Credit - Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones)
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Business and Social Sciences Divisions provides transfer ready programs and courses in social science, such as anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule Information: Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule
Job Description: The Geographic Information Systems/Drone Technology Department is seeking effective, collaborative, and enthusiastic teachers who are committed to teaching Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) skills at the community college level. Adjunct faculty must have the ability to develop course materials and deliver instruction to a diverse range of students.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
Licensure: Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot Certificate
Experience Requirements: At least 1 years remote pilot experience in civil, educational, or commercial sectors. College level teaching experience or demonstrated ability to teach subject matter. Experience in GIS/remote sensing, teaching in multiple modalities (face to face, hybrid, online) and both multirotor and fixed-wing sUAS is a strong plus.
