Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice
Position Details
This program reports to the Department Chair, and is a part of the Public Services & Industrial Technology division.
Responsibilities
This position has the responsibility of teaching in the Criminal Justice AAS degree program. Specific duties include providing instruction and training. Applicants will be required to teach courses online via KCs Blackboard LMS as well as in person either at the Kilgore or Longview locations of Kilgore College.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of an associates degree, preferably in Criminal Justice, plus a minimum of 5 years experience in the field (police, corrections, probation, etc). Applicants with a baccalaureate or graduate degree in CJ do not need to have the five years experience. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office is necessary.
Applicants must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to the community college philosophy of education.
Salary Range & Fringe Benefits
- Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,700 per 3-hour course for an Associates or Bachelors degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.

All positions are located in Kilgore, TX. No fully remote positions are available at this time. All employees must be available to physically present to work on the Kilgore, TX or Longview, TX Campus.
