Adjunct Faculty - Dental Hygiene Baccalaureate Program (DNTL 4075)
Taft College is seeking qualified candidates to teach DNTL 4075 - Capstone Course: Teaching in Dental Hygiene Programs (3 units). This course provides dental hygienists with foundations to become effective educators, emphasizing development and implementation of a capstone project, including project description, assessment tools, goals, objectives, and activities. Courses are offered asynchronous online.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Dental Technology, or closely related discipline; or equivalent; and demonstrated sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Desired Qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in Dentistry, Education, or related field; experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Compensation: $77.02-$90.50 per hour.
Required Materials for Application: Letter of Introduction, current Resume, complete transcripts, and three professional references. For foreign transcripts, a course-by-course analysis with equivalency statement is required.
