The Computer Science Department invites applications for adjunct
faculty positions. As one of six departments in the College of
Science & Mathematics, the department offers both undergraduate
and graduate programs in Computer Science, Data Science, Computing
& Informatics, Computer Systems Technology, and Cybersecurity.
It is among the largest departments on campus and delivers courses
in both in-person and online formats.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in computer science or a
closely related technical field. Preferred qualifications include
prior teaching experience, relevant industry experience, and/or
professional certification or licensure.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency
Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University
adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all
courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per
semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be
assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed
basis.
