As a department, we greatly value experiential and project-based learning, integrating emerging topics and technologies into the curriculum, and providing an outstanding, state-of-the-art array of equipment, instruments, rapid prototyping, fabrication and computational resources to support such activities. Our dedication to project-based learning is reflected in both of our ECE and EET curricula, as all our courses include lab/project components. As a result, we seek individuals who share this dedication, possess the skills and passion to develop innovative hands-on lab projects or other experiential learning activities using appropriate modern tools, and have the ability to integrate such projects/activities into the course content.

Applicants must have earned at least a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Individuals with industry and/or academic experience are particularly encouraged to apply. 10 years or more of relevant industry experience, along with a Bachelor's degree, may, in some cases, be used in lieu of the Master of Science degree requirement.

Effective communication skills, the capacity to collaborate with multi-disciplinary student and faculty teams, and the capability to teach in a project-based environment are essential. The position is part-time, non-tenure-track, with renewable contracts contingent upon performance (including student evaluations), departmental needs, and university and budgetary approvals. The review of applications will commence immediately and continue as new needs arise.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
