Adjunct Faculty/Department of History

Eastern University's Department of History invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach sections in the university’s general education program. These courses include HIST 160 (Ancient World) and HIST 161 (Modern Civilization). The applicant must be able to teach during the day for in-person instruction.

Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in History and experience teaching at the college/university level. However, a Ph.D. in History (or ABD) is strongly preferred. To be considered, applicants must submit a cover letter to include a brief statement of their faith, curriculum vitae, unofficial copies of graduate transcripts, and three current professional references letters. All positions remain open until filled.
