Adjunct Faculty - General Studio, Art
The Department of Art at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is seeking part time faculty to teach courses in a variety of visual arts disciplines:
- Painting and Drawing
- Sculpture
- Design (Graphic Design, Interactive Design, UX and UI Design)
- Photography (Analog and Digital)
- Foundations
- Art Education
Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:
- Preparing course plans and materials
- Delivering courses
- Monitoring progress/attendance
- Advising students
- Recording grades and submitting reports
- Working with full-time faculty in the area to ensure consistency amongst classes.
Qualifications
Instructors with an MFA degree in the relevant discipline with at least two (2) years of teaching experience preferred. This is a part-time, temporary position that may require day, evening and/or weekend availability.
