The O’Malley School of Business offers AACSB-accredited undergraduate and graduate programs to approximately 900 business students. We expect our faculty, administration, and staff to be knowledgeable about our mission and to make a positive contribution to the mission.
The Department of Economics and Finance in the O’Malley School of Business (OMSB) at Manhattan University invites applications for an Adjunct Professor to teach introductory economics courses beginning Fall 2026. We seek a dynamic and student-centered educator committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Teach one or more sections of introductory economics (e.g., Principles of Microeconomics and/or Principles of Macroeconomics)
- Contribute to the academic mission of the department through high-quality instruction and engagement with students
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures
- Prepare course materials, syllabi, and assessments
- Provide timely feedback on student progress and assignments
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics or Master’s degree in a related field required, Ph.D. (preferred)
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Candidates with a proven record of excellence in teaching will be preferred
Supplemental Information
Undergraduate Salary Range Based on Experience:
Instructor: $4,431.83
Assistant Professor: $4,578.76
Associate Professor: $4,726.94
Professor: $4,875.13
