Approximately 85% of our graduates either find employment or enroll in a graduate program related to their field of study within a year of graduation.
The Department of Kinesiology & Health at Manhattan University seeks part-time, adjunct faculty to teach in-person lecture or laboratory classes. Faculty are expected to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that supports student success in foundational classes within the exercise science and health majors. This search is for multiple positions, with specialization in kinesiology and health areas.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position
Job Responsibilities
- Teach courses within the exercise science, physical education, and health majors
- Contribute to the academic mission of the department through high-quality instruction and engagement with students
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures through effective teaching strategies
- Develop course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
- Provide timely feedback on student progress and assignments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- The successful applicant will hold at least a master’s degree, doctorate in the appropriate discipline preferred
- Candidates with a proven record of excellence in teaching will be given preference
