Adjunct Faculty

Job Description

Gogebic Community College is seeking candidates for adjunct faculty positions to serve in clinical locations in the Houghton, Hancock, Baraga area.

Clinicals are held at various regional clinical sites. Shifts and days vary by location and the department takes into consideration the adjuncts current work schedule. Classes begin August 31, 2026.

This position reports to the Director of Allied Health.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee students performing patient care while at clinical rotations.
• Assist students in obtaining clinical reasoning skills – help students learn how to think like a nurse.
• Complete clinical evaluation forms.
• Keeping students informed regarding course requirements, evaluation measures, and attendance policies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Masters preferred.
