Job Summary

The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a 10-month, tenure-track, full-time faculty member for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing track. Preference will be given to candidates who have academic teaching experience in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Teaching schedule may require some travel to clinical sites in the metro-Atlanta area and North Georgia region.
• Responsibilities include didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction, and clinical site visits in regional health care settings.
• This position includes expectations for teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Faculty are expected to be on the Gainesville campus a minimum of 4 days a week.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in nursing required (DNP or PhD).
• Minimum of two years' recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse required.
