Job Description
Worcester Polytechnic Institute is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for its Music Program in the Humanities and Arts Department.
Job Summary: This is a part-time position to teach music courses on a course-by-course basis as needed. Faculty will participate in music technology programs, oversee ensembles, and teach courses in music theory, history, audio arts, technology, composition, arrangement, and performance.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must be outstanding artists/scholars with a Doctorate in music (e.g., PhD, DMA, DMus), demonstrate teaching excellence, versatility, and the ability to integrate creative and critical pedagogical approaches.
How to Apply: Submit a cover letter addressing relevant expertise and experience, a current CV with names and contact information for three references, and evidence of teaching experience (e.g., syllabi, teaching portfolio).
