Job Summary:

Adjunct faculty are hired to fulfill responsibilities which will be specified in their letter of appointment. Unless otherwise specified... workload consists solely of instruction. All faculty are expected to engage in effective teaching and assessment of student learning.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise... Master's degree in nursing or Bachelor's degree in nursing with Master's degree in a health or education related field
• Unencumbered Washington Registered Nurse license, or eligible for licensure
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach...

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five or more years recent clinical experience
• Master's level course work in nursing education
• One or more years of prior experience teaching in a clinical, laboratory, or simulated learning environment
• Experience working with Canvas or another learning management system

Job Duties:

% of Time: 100

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Teach nursing courses consistent with expertise and program/departmental instructional needs
• Engage in effective teaching and assessment of student learning outcomes
• Advise students...

Salary Information:

Semester Adjunct Faculty will be compensated at the rate of one thousand one hundred sixty-three dollars ($1163) per credit.
