Adjunct Faculty - Nursing Clinical Instructors
Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching pre-licensure, undergraduate, and graduate nursing students. Qualified adjunct faculty instructors are offered part-time teaching opportunities (up to 9 credits/semester) based on faculty demand in the clinical areas.
Teaching Responsibilities
The School of Nursing at Aurora University invites applicants for clinical adjunct appointments in the following disciplines:
- Fundamentals
- Medical-Surgical
- Obstetrics
- Pediatrics
- Psychiatric / Mental Health
The position involves the supervision of students in clinical practice at clinical sites as well as the simulation lab. Clinical assignments may include weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends and are located throughout the Chicagoland area.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications must align to the faculty qualification policy.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and current Illinois RN license required.
Background and clinical experience in respective discipline(s).
